Typography class at METU

Herb Lubalin is the toast of the town today as New York City remembers his birthday with a Grand Parade!

Lubalin, perhaps no Irish saint himself, but undoubtedly, a New Yorker through and through, deserves nothing less than thousands of green clad marchers strutting their stuff and blowing bagpipes in his memory, but, alas, the parade is really for the Irish. As dear as Saint Patrick was to the Irish, perhaps Herb Lubalin is just as dear to graphic designers and typographers, a shy personality who shone through his work. Let’s kick off a parade of 100 days to share what Lubalin did and recall the man and designer he was.
